Pack of 3 small LIVE Carolina Reaper Plants shipped by USPS. All orders will be shipped on a Monday to avoid plants sitting at a sorting facility. Live plants do not qualify for free shipping and cannot be shipped outside the United States.

Please be mindful of temperatures when ordering. Try to select a shipment date when there is no risk of freezing during shipping. Orders may be held due to weather changes or a nor’easter in the forecast.

As you may know the Carolina Reaper is the World’s Hottest pepper. Growing super hot peppers from seed can be quite difficult. That’s why we at PepperHead® have started shipping live plants across the nation with great success.

Our plants are carefully tended for, packaged, and shipped so our plants arrive safely and ready for your garden.

Why buy PepperHead® live pepper plants?

The roots of our Carolina Reaper plants are inoculated with Endomycorrhizal fungi* and beneficial bacteria** which produces a more drought and pest resistant adult plant. Also, more nutrients are available to the plant because of the mycorrhizae’s symbiotic relationship with the roots as well as reducing transplant shock. It is important to have this inoculation at germination so the plant is colonized for life. It is much more difficult or even impossible to inoculate after a juvenile stage. This will make our Reaper plants grow larger and produce more peppers than if purchased from anywhere else.

    These are my first Reaper plants. Ordered in April, received May 21. All three plants are doing great. We had one straggler(far right), although ultimately did fine. I had to "harden" the plants a bit with a custom made LED light for the first couple weeks then slowly move them outside for a few hours daily. The heat would sag the plants within...More
    These are my first Reaper plants. Ordered in April, received May 21. All three plants are doing great. We had one straggler(far right), although ultimately did fine. I had to "harden" the plants a bit with a custom made LED light for the first couple weeks then slowly move them outside for a few hours daily. The heat would sag the plants within 30-60 mins. Currently as pictured, The left and Right were topped about a month ago. The center is all natural... Buds are starting to pop and these plants sit outside in 3 gallon fabric pots 24/7. They love the rain! Getting minor leaf curl, but that's expected with the bugs outside. I don't use any pesticides, the soil is foxfarm ocean forest. I'm currently only supplementing cal-mag as needed.

    They were alive but a few are still not happy. I have brought them back and slowly they are growing. I will order again in the future.

    My plants were poor, good and better. This was their condition when they arrived. Packaging was excellent but the plants were dry. Poor didn't make it a week. Good and better are holding on. Only better seems to be thriving. Don't know if I would purchase from here again.

    The plants came green and healthy looking. Unfortunately one had a broken stem just above the roots and didn't make it, but such are the hazards of shipping. The other 2 are growing strong.

    The peppers survived the 3 day trip quite well. It seems it was very important to slowly introduce them to sun as the instructions said. They do not seem to like direct sunlight for all too long on real hot days. I am keeping them in huge pots so I can better address their needs, and it has kept them going strong.

    Clearly, all plants don't like being shipped in the mail. You need to plant them quickly and carefully follow the instructions. They were carefully packed, and now seem to be doing well in their final location. I am looking forwards to first batch of fruit!
